Indian audience loves this game beyond anything and this game generates the passion and feeling of nationalism like no others sports. Companies cash on this Indian Psyche for the cricket. The recently concluded IPL clearly highlights the huge amount of money involved with Cricket. There was a mad rat race between the advertisers to show off their brands at every given opportunity. Sometimes the ads were shown even before the over gets completed. This large scale commercialization of the game simply sells the cricket for some vested interests.

The television and broadcasting rights are sold in millions and advertisers pay a hefty amount to show their brands in the breaks timings or even during the live game.
