Many of you may be using shared hosting and may have a second thought about switching to dedicated hosting. Before you actually switch to dedicated hosting, make sure you really need it. Dedicated hosting is more expensive and making an unnecessary switch to dedicated hosting can create problems rather than help you out. Think carefully and plan before making the switch. Here are few factors when the switching becomes a necessity.
Security
One of the major concerns about the website is the security. If you find that your website lacks the required security, then switching to dedicated hosting can be a solution. Shared hosting involves a number of websites using a single server. As a result, there are more chances of data being stolen or corrupted. Dedicated hosting provides higher level of security than the other types.
Storage Space
If your site is getting large, you may need extra space for storage. If you find that the present storage space is not enough for your needs, then choosing the dedicated hosting can be of help. In shared hosting, there is a limitation of storage space. In dedicated hosting the entire hard disk space is allocated for your storage necessities.
Performance
If your current hosting is showing poor performance due to increase in traffic to your website, dedicated hosting can solve your problem. Poor performance is the result of sharing bandwidth and CPU with other websites. The performance especially decreases when the other websites use heavy server side programming or when the traffic to the websites is increasing. Dedicated hosting involves no sharing of bandwidth with other websites and hence offers better performance.

Shared hosting allows limited control. If you wish to have more control over your website and want to install software, applications, etc then switching to dedicated hosting is necessary.

It is truly said that music is the language of the heart that speaks to every soul. Irrespective of the language barriers in understanding the lyrics, Malayalam songs have entranced the Indian nation as a whole. Though Malayalam music has its roots in classical and other old forms of music, its introduction to the commercial film industry happened as late as 1948. Great male singers like the legendary K.J. Yesudas, M.G. Sreekumar and the relatively new, Vidhu Prathap form the illustrious group of male singers of Malayalam songs.
A name that is synonymous to Malayalam songs is that of Dr. K.J. Yesudas. Known for a rare and awe-inspiring voice, Yesudas’s songs almost seem to hypnotize the audience. Having won the most National awards totaling to seven, Yesudas is a pillar of strength in the Malayalam music industry. Known as ‘Gana Gandharva’, this divine singer has bagged every award from the Padma Bhushan to the Padma Shri as well as the “Outstanding Achievements in Music and Peace” award by UNESCO which was bestowed on him in 1999. His son Vijay Yesudas is also a talented Malayalam song singer.
Son of the well-known M.G. Radhakrishnan, M.G. Sreekumar is one of the best male singers of Malayalam songs. Best known for his fantastic repertoire of songs sung for the veteran actor Mohanlal, Sreekumar has been blessed with a melodious voice honed to perfection by his classical training.
The voice that has taken the Malayalam music industry by storm lately is that of the newcomer Vidhu Prathap. Having trained under great music directors like Devarajan and Ravindranath, Vidhu Prathap has a unique yet mainstream voice. With several hit numbers under his belt, Prathap has become a valuable contributor to the collection of Malayalam songs.
Other notable singers who have changed the face of Malayalam song singing are P. Jayachandran, G. Venugopal and S.P. Balasubramaniam.
